The World Economic Forum (WEF) 2016 is set to take place in Davos, Switzerland from 20 the 23rd January with the main theme “Mastering the fourth industrial revolution”. As a co-founder of the event and Chairman of FPT, Mr. Binh will join talk with leaders of countries, businesses and organizations on the integration of technologies within the fields of physics, chemistry and biology, which can help creating completely new possibilities and have profound impacts on the political system, society and economy of the world.

This year’s forum is expected to welcome more than 2,500 delegates from 100 countries and territories who are representatives of governments, corporations, research institutions and media. Some of the key guests are British PM David Cameron, Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau, Switzerland President Johann Schneider-Ammann and US Vice President Joe Biden.

Last year, FPT Chairman Truong Gia Binh also joined WEF and participated in the discussion on the future of Internet as one of the ten worldwide challenges that the WEF 2015 focused on. Through the presence at the event, Mr. Binh also had meetings with top global companies to share updates on ICT in Vietnam and the Asia-Pacific region.

The World Economic Forum Annual Meeting provides an unparalleled platform for leaders to map the complexity and inter-connectivity of our changing world at the beginning of the year. The event aims to develop insights, initiatives and actions necessary to respond to current and emerging challenges. FPT was a founder member of WEF in 2011 and has participated since January 2012.
