FPT – for Vietnamese Intelligence
As the leader of Vietnam’s software outsourcing industry, FPT Software actively contributes its experience, know-how and opportunities to study.
For the Vietnamese youth
FPT has given opportunities to thousands of young people to study and work abroad to learn international technology innovations and quintessential knowledge from ICT “giants” across the world. FPT Software has also offered many internship programs for Vietnamese students, giving them real experiences, IT knowledge and skills through on-the-job training.
For the community
In 2009, FPT Software officially transferred documentation outlining its experiences in deploying, constructing, applying and test-taking to attain CMMI level 5 certification to the Vietnamese IT enterprise community. Thus demonstrating its commitment to support Vietnamese IT enterprises, to ensure that the Vietnamese software industry brand becomes an attractive and trustworthy destination for software outsourcing.
Corporate Social Contributions
FPT Software team members, with their power and dynamism, also actively share their social responsibilities to help Vietnamese people and children improve their quality of life, building a better community and a better Vietnam.
FPT Community Day
In 2010, FPT corporate social responsibility activities were raised to a new level: as the Corporation officially selected every March 13 as “FPT Community Day”. FPT is also actively involved in connection with various forums, councils and social responsibility programs both nationwide & worldwide.
FPT Hearts
FPT Software sponsors many charity activities such as Environmental Protection Clubs, blood donations, and “Operation Smile Vietnam” which provides reconstructive facial surgery to children and young adults with cleft palates.
All FPT Software staff are encouraged to support charities and local activities such as blood donations, helping people in areas hit by natural disasters, technology support for schools, environmental protection, etc.
FPT Green
With the hope of raising staff awareness of environmental protection, FPT Software established the “FPT Green” club with the participation of senior managers and volunteer employees from the company
FPT Green, along with non-governmental organizations, has undertaken many environmental protection activities to support the environment, wildlife and human life.
For a green planet, FPT offices all over the world participated in the Earth Hour campaign by switching off all non-essential electrical equipment.
