Let's talk
According to Gartner, “Over the next five years, global logistics costs are projected to grow at a compound annual growth rate of 4.7% to $6.54 trillion by 2025. Additional economic factors, such as increasing freight rates, trade wars, rapid e-commerce growth and a tight labor market, have presented a difficult landscape in which logistics leaders must create opportunities to improve logistics costs and retain a competitive advantage.”

To help enterprises focus on the right targets and ensure favourable results, the global research and advisory company has issued a report identifying five key levers that can create profound impacts to logistics budgets. Detailed initiatives, for example, utilizing advanced shipment notices, optimizing packaging, reducing manual processes are also suggested throughout the report.
