On 16/2, the Viet Nam IT Days 2017 was held in Tokyo, Japan. Representing FPT Software at the event, Mr. Kotaro Maeno – Head of FPT Japan’s New Business Development Division presented a keynote speech named “Digital converter of FPT in response to the resources situation of Japan”. The highlight of Mr. Maeno’s speech was FPT’s current investment on new technologies such as Cloud, Big data, Fintech, AI, IoT, Digitalization with partnership with key global technology “players” like AWS, Microsoft and GE. Along with R&D, the company is also training huge number of engineers on these new technologies.
Another FPT Software’s representative, Mr. Bui Vinh Thang, Head of Cloud technology team, also attended the event with the panel discussion under the topic: Technology Trend, and the cooperation opportunity between Vietnam and Japan. Mr. Thang answered questions raised by several Japanese companies such as how FPT Software applies new technology, how to create human resources, how FPT become the leading company in implementing training and obtain such many AWS and GE Predix certificates.
Vietnam IT Day is an annual event held under the coordination of the Vietnam Association of Software and Services (VINASA), Vietnam- Japan IT Cooperation Club (VJC), Japan IT Services Association (JISA) and the Japan External trade Promotion Organization (JETRO) to promote business cooperation between Vietnamese enterprises and Japan. The event attracted the attention of 120-150 participating Japanese enterprises and 20 Vietnamese enterprises. VN IT Days provided many good opportunities for Japanese enterprises and Vietnamese enterprises to exchange and update information, increase business cooperation, as well as discuss the possibility of cooperation for the next fiscal year.
