With the aim to train 10,000 Bridge Software Engineers (BrSEs) by 2020 targeting the Japanese market, FPT Software is planning to introduce 1000 BrSEs by the end of this year with the launching of several programs namely the Japanese abroad-study program, Japanese Software training program and the joint training program with FPT University. It is expected that the cooperation between these short courses will help trainees improve practical skills such as Japanese language, corporate culture and mind-set when working with Japanese companies and will be able to apply these skills immediately into future career.
“10k BrSEs” is one of FPT Software’s training programs initiated at the end of 2014 to train Vietnamese IT resources to target the IT needs of Japanese market and contribute to the company’s goal of 30,000 personnel by 2020. The program is also one of FPT’s Social Responsibility initiatives to help raising Vietnam’s profile on the global digital map. By the end of 2015, 688 bridge software engineers have graduated from the program.
