On 14th October, The Vietnam Software Association (VINASA) officially announced the top 40 Vietnam IT companies in 2015 at the New World Hotel Saigon, Ho Chi Minh city, Vietnam. Not only holding the position of the industry leader, FPT Software is also recorded to have 4.5 times revenues higher than the runner up, accounting for nearly 22% of total revenue of the top 40 IT companies.

Vietnam’s Leading IT Companies program was held for the first time in 2014 with the purpose of selecting and introducing the reputable and good capacity enterprises to the potential markets and partners, but at the same time promoting the image of the sector Vietnam ICT in the international arena.

This year, Vietnam’s Leading IT Companies in 2015 attracted nearly 100 nominations. After the evaluation process, the Council consisted of 22 voted reviewed members and selected 40 deserving enterprises including 16 companies in the field of BPO, IT Outsourcing, Offshoring; 17 companies in the field of providing solutions and software; 7 companies in the field of digital content, applications and mobile solutions. To reach this list, the candidates have to go through the process with 6 votes assessment, including: Human Resources; Markets and customers; Technologies and products; The financial indicators; Business leaders and corporate governance; Awards, trophies and special achievements being recognized in production and business activities, and physical activity with social responsibility of enterprises (CSR). Profile must pass three poll rounds: Application screening; Appraisal of actual companies and Final vote selection.

The 40 companies selected this year are worthy names, with total sales of more than 640 million USD, accounting for 1/4 of the total software industry revenue and digital content, creating jobs for more than 23,300 highly qualified human resources, accounting for 1/6 of the whole sector workforce. This number also shows a portion of the business efficiency of the leading enterprises, typically have mention as FPT Software, VTC, VMG, etc.”, Mr. Truong Gia Binh, President VINASA shared.
