Global Azure Bootcamp is a training event that takes place at 117+ locations worldwide by Microsoft in conjunction with Azure communities worldwide. On this event, FPT is to participate at Singapore Azure Bootcamp held on April 16th , at the headquarters of Microsoft Singapore as Gold sponsor to showcase expertise in Cloud and Microsoft Azure technology. This year, the event will bring to participants one day deep dive class to help them get up to speed on developing Cloud Computing Applications for Windows Azure. The expert discussion sessions is expected to attracted more than 450 attendants and revolves on three main themes: Developer, It Pro and Data Track.
Thuan Nguyen, FPT SharePoint specialist and also Microsoft’s youngest MVP will be the one of 19 participants selected as presenters in expert discussion session on Azure platform. Thuan will share his experience on how Infrastructure – as- a- Service ( IaaS ) of Microsoft can help users enjoy quicker and easier deployment SharePoint system on Microsoft Azure. According to the youngest Most Valuable Professional ( MVP ) of Microsoft , the reason he choose this topic is that IaaS Service of Microsoft is the best starting point for anyone who want to learn about SharePoint development on Microsoft Azure. This service allows users to build easily an infrastructure on Microsoft Azure rather than taking time and cost to build and maintain on- premises infrastructure .
Born in 1990, Nguyen Ngoc Thuan – FPT Software Senior SharePoint Specialist – is the youngest Most Valuable Professionals (MVPs) in the history of Microsoft. Before joining FPT, Thuan started his career in an US start-up, specializing in providing SharePoint solutions. The main reason why he eventually decided to work for FPT was because of its mission to bring Vietnam intellectual into the global market and the plenty-opportunity-environment for technology experts. He found himself synergistic in the direction of FPT towards Cloud Computing, Big Data Analytics, Mobility, and felt that the company had a great competitive advantage in the SharePoint area.
SharePoint has been as also a key technology skill within FPT for 10 years since the first version in 2003. Through various million-dollar projects for global customers and being Microsoft Gold Certified Partner since 2006, FPT nowadays has a team of 500 professionals on SharePoint area with broad experience. Currently, Thuan Nguyen is researching on how to gradually integrate SharePoint with Microsoft’s Cloud Computing services such as Office 365 and Microsoft Azure. Furthermore, he has been the key consultant/architect during SharePoint projects within the company.
