Case Study: Maintain Functions for a Manufacturing Company

Customer:

Headquartered in Tokyo, Japan, the company is a member of a leading global electronics corporation.

The customer provides the services: Systems Development and Information Processing Equipment, Basic software for mainframe computers and large-scale systems, Networks for the financial, Insurance securities industries, and Government agencies.

It has more than 5000 staff.

Project Description:

The customer develops a system that manages the document contents (the completion version, material (a text, a picture, in addition file)) of a manufacturing industry.

FPT maintains five main functions by adding new and change from old source

  • 1: Improvement in Document Management Function. This function includes management document group, flag prohibition edit document structure and paste local file.
  • 2: Improvement in Review Function
  • 3: User Registration Batch
  • 4: Coordination with Internal Control Tool
  • 5: Improvement edit history
  • In addition, we test the product on WinXP SP2 IE7.0 to find bug on IE7.0

Technology used: VS .NET 2003, Fsoft tools, Any Warp, CLMAN, C#, Window server 2003, MS VSS 6.0, MS SQL Database
