The Hung King's Temple Festival
“No matter where you go, Remember that the anniversary of our ancestors is on March 10th”
(Vietnamese proverb)
The Hung King's Temple Festival is one of the most important and sacred festivals of the Vietnamese people, deeply imbedded in the minds of every Vietnamese citizen, regardless of where they originate from.
The Hung King's Temple is located in Phu Tho province, some 85 kilometers northwest of Hanoi. Every year, a national festival called the Hung King's Temple Festival is held to worship the Hung Kings, who were instrumental in the founding of the nation. The festival is on March 10th (of the Lunar Calendar) but it usually lasts for 3 days from the 9th to the 11th of the 3rd month of the Lunar year. This year, it falls on 26th April 2007 and from this year, for the first time, it becomes a national public holiday.
This festival is also considered a sacred pilgrimage back to the origins of Vietnamese culture. People usually demonstrate the love and pride of their homeland and ancestral land at this time.

FPT SOFTWARE QUALITY MANAGEMENT REPORT IN MARCH
In March, FPT Software experienced some remarkable achievements in its project quality metrics, which were monitored and reported by the company’s Business Assurance Department (see below).
The quality metrics were generally good with an improvement in Timeliness; Correction Costs and Average Leakage. There was a significant increase in Timeliness metrics to 84.96%, compared with 83.59% last month, and exceeded the target (80%). In addition, Average Leakage, at 0.17WDef/UCP, decreased in comparison with the target (0.3) whilst Correction Costs were within the control limit. However, there was still a decrease in the metrics of acceptance rates (75%), lower than the FPT Software norms (95%) because some customers had not finished testing our projects or they had not supplied some dependencies for Source Code release.
FPT Information System (FIS) has become Vietnam’s first company to win Cisco Systems’ enterprise partner of year for Asia award, handed by Cisco in April, 2007. The local company has recorded strong growth, nearly 70% a year, and gained a high level of customer satisfaction.
