Dr. Nguyen Thanh Nam
Chairman of the Board

Nam received his PhD in Mathematics in Moscow in 1988 and began his career at FPT Corporation, as one of 13 co-founders, and also one of the first Programmers, System Analysts and Designers, in the same year.

He then focused on business software in banking and enterprise management and his team participated in almost all the major computerization projects in Vietnam during the next decade. In 1997, Nam was determined to establish FPT Software as a key player in the global software market.

With the establishment of the FPT Software division in late 1999, Nam was appointed CEO and Managing Director. His vision is to position FPT Software as the region's leading software service provider. On December 1st 2008, Nam became Chairman of FPT Software.

Mr. Le Truong Tung
Member of Management Board

Tung received his PhD in Mathematics and Physics in the Military Technical Academy. He has held many important positions in the government agencies and IT associations such as Head of Secretariat of IT HCM City Steering Committee, Chairman of HCM City Computer Association, Vice-Chairman of the Vietnam Computer Association and Delegate of the HCM City People’s Council (7th tenure).

Started a career in FPT Corporation as Director of FPT Aptech Computer Education Center in 1999, then he was Vice Director of FPT Ho Chi Minh City branch and Director of FPT International Academy.

Currently, he is President of FPT University and Member of Management Board of FPT Software.

Mr. Bryan Pelz
Member of Management Board

Bryan has a B.A. from UCLA and has 24 years in software and 12 years in startups. He is a veteran entrepreneur working in Vietnam with the positions: Technical Consultant of FPT Company and Fetch Technologies Company, Co-Founder and CEO of Son Thuy Computer Game Company, Advisor of IDG Ventures Vietnam.

Prior to his 3-year stay in Hanoi and 2 years in Saigon, he was co-founder and CEO of Fetch Technologies in Manhattan Beach California. Fetch is an R&D company specializing in artificial intelligence, information extraction, data integration, portal and search technologies.

Currently he is CEO of VinaGame and Management Board’s member of FPT software.

Ms. Bui Thi Hong Lien

A graduate student of the University of Tsukuba in Japan with a Master's Degree in Computer Engineering, Lien has pursued many areas of study throughout the course of her academic career. Prior to enrolling in the University of Tsukuba, Lien obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Dresden Technical University in Germany. In 1999, Lien brought her talent to FPT and has been working for the Company ever since. She started out being CEO at FPT India. Then, in 2003, she became the Director of Business Unit 8 at FPT Software. Her contributions have been of utmost value. As a result, she has ceaselessly ascended the organizational ranks. In 2005, Lien started to occupy the position of CEO and President of FPT Japan. Also in the same year, she was appointed Vice President of FPT Software and was given full control over operations relating to the Japanese market. Lien is the sole female member of FPT Software's top management. In 2009, she began to assume her role as FPT Software's CEO.

Mr. Nguyen Lam Phuong

Phuong began his career at FPT Corporation as a developer after having received his Master of Science in Computing Science and Networking from the Moscow Power Engineering Institute in 1991. Prior to the establishment of FPT Software, Phuong worked as a Project Manager and then a Group Leader for FPT Corporation’s subsidiary (FPT Software Solutions). He was appointed Deputy Managing Director of FPT Software in 1999 and obtained an Executive MBA from the University of Hawaii in 2003.

Mr. Phan Phuong Dat

Human Resources and Corporate Communication

Dat received his PhD in Applied Math in 1999 at the State University of Moldova, a former USSR Republic. He has 10 years of experience working as HR and Training Manager from 1999-2009. During this time, he took part in developing FPT Software's workforce from 20 people to more than 2000 people. From June 2007 to Dec 2009, he worked as HR Manager for FPT Corporation (the mother company of FPT Software with more than 9000 employees) and helped to implement PeopleSoft HCM FPT-wide. From Jan 2010, he came back to FPT Software to be in charge of HR and Corporate Communication. Besides HR, Dat also worked in Process Improvement (led CMM-5 and CMMI-5 implementation projects during 2004-2006) and Corporate Communication (internal communication system, social activities, etc.)

Mr. Pham Minh Tuan

Director of FPT Software

Tuan used to be a Developer and Project Leader for FPT Corporation. From 1999-2000, he worked as the Technical Director of FPT India Branch. Tuan is currently the Director of FPT Software Ho Chi Minh Branch and is a Vice President of FPT Software.

Mr. Nguyen Khai Hoan
Vice President

Hoan graduated from the Academy of Finance under Government of Federal republic of Russia in 1999 and successfully obtained a Ph.D. degree in economics, specializing in investment in the Institute of economics under Academy of Sciences in Russian Federation in 2003. In the same year, he joined FPT as a specialist in the Accounting and Finance Department.

From 2004 to 2005, he held the position of Chief Accountant of FPT Software, a subsidiary of FPT Corporation. From 2005 to date, he undertook the position of Head of Finance and Chief Accountant of FPT Software, responsible for supervising and operating accounting and finance activities of FPT Software in Vietnam as well as branches and offices in foreign countries such as Japan, Singapore, USA, EU and Malaysia.
